physiotherapy

A physiotherapy appointment always begins with an assessment. We always start with hearing your concerns, and asking questions to understand your needs. After a discussion we check a range of factors based on your concern, and evaluate your range of motion, strength, and alignment. We will also do physical tests and take measurements of the areas we anticipate will need work. Your treatment will be discussed with you, and you are welcome to ask all the questions necessary to feel comfortable. All our physiotherapists are registered with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia, the regulatory body in BC. They work closely with our regulated professionals such as Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) to support each clients’ goals.

Our dedicated team of Vancouver physiotherapists have backgrounds in sport, exercise physiology and human kinetics. One-on-one appointments mean the time during your appointment is dedicated specifically for you. Our sport physiotherapists use manual therapy and may be combined with IMS (functional dry needling), prescriptive exercise and pilates. They are familiar, or even experts in a variety of sports, and they serve to support recovery and help plan for improved performance. If strength and conditioning is needed, we work with a network of exercise physiologists and kinesiologists throughout the Lower Mainland to help you on your way. We serve clients in Vancouver, and even those coming from Burnaby, Richmond, North Vancouver, and Coquitlam.

injury management

The body’s ability to withstand force is the greatest factor in preventing injury. Accidents happen to everyone at some point, and it can be unclear what to do next. Having a path forward brings confidence to the healing process. Our practitioners will help you with exercise prescriptions, manual therapy, and even let you know when it’s time to just rest.
