It depends on your objective - if you have already received a diagnosis, and part of the diagnosis treatment plan includes massage, then you can book directly with a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
If you are looking for a greater understanding of your condition, then we recommend to book with our physiotherapists to receive a diagnosis and treatment plan.

We are located in Vancouver, near the corner of King Edward and Main Street. Our address is 4132 Main Street. Our clinic is easily accessed by car from Richmond and Burnaby alike. North Vancouver residents may need to plan a bit more time to arrive. Check Google for updates on road closures or bus schedules.
Two major bus routes run past our doors:
the #25 UBC/Brentwood Station, running East-West and connecting with the Canada Line at King Edward and the Skytrain at Nanaimo and Brentwood stations.
#3 Main/Downtown, running North-South and connecting with the Canada Line at the Marine Drive Station and the Skytrain at Main Street-Science World.
Both buses run on 10-15 minute intervals during business hours. Weekends may have slightly longer wait times.

There is paid/metered parking all along Main Street.
There are some free parking spots along King Edward Ave, but be aware that they have time limits, and parking may not be allowed during peak traffic flow times. For example, parking is allowed on east-bound side of King Edward, east of Main, but not during 3-6pm when traffic is heavy in that direction.

We are located on the ground floor of a building developed in the early 1900s and renovated in the 1970s. While there are no stairs to our clinic, we do have standard width doors that are manually operated.
If you would like to access our services, but may need additional support, please contact us to discuss your needs.

All appointments may be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty.
If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours, a charge of 50% will be applied.
If you can give us enough notice, cancellations due to illness or COVID precautions may not be charged. If you call us right away in the morning when you feel unwell, it would be better than calling 10 minutes before your appointment.
If there is a no-show, the fee of the entire amount will be applied.
-
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment. This is a Ministry of Health guideline.

If you are attending a physiotherapy appointment, wear or bring an article of clothing that allows access to the area of concern. For example, for if you are concerned about knee pain when running, make sure to bring a pair of shorts you can move freely in. For bodywork or RMT, you can undress to your comfort level. Lower body undergarments will always stay on.
To access direct billing, bring a copy of your extended health care card or plan numbers. We will need these to be able to connect with the provider.
Bring an open mind - our providers are some of Vancouver’s best physiotherapists, RMTs and musculoskeletal therapists. They are experts in their field, and they look forward to helping you reclaim your spirit of adventure.

Everyone has a slightly different extended medical plan, based on their individual plan and/or employer.
It is important for each person to check their plan before their appointment at Elios Health. Most plans cover up to 70% of physiotherapy, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, and RMT, although some providers allow for 100% coverage. Most plans do not cover bodywork massage. Check carefully which appointment you have, and what you expect to be reimbursed for. Any outstanding amount will need to be covered by the patient.
You will need to check your coverage amount in advance, as we do not have access to this information for you.

We accept most major credit cards and debit cards and offer contactless payment. While cash is accepted, we ask you to consider paying with a contactless form.
Anyone can attach a credit card to their account, and it will be kept on file for automatic billing.
Sometimes, problems with direct billing occur. If a provider’s system is down or undergoing maintenance, we may ask you to pay the entire amount and get reimbursed by your plan.

Once you create a profile, you can see which practitioner is working on your chosen day. Select the practitioner you want, when you want — no more waiting for callbacks!
The intake forms can be filled out at home in advance of your arrival, so your time is respected. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm the details of your visit.
Our practitioners (especially our Main St RMT) are often full two, or even three weeks ahead. Using the waitlist function on the Jane App when you book ensures you will be the next person in line if a spot opens up.
